Breakfast: Navel Orange, Fat Free Blueberry Muesli, and Organic Low Fat Yogurt from Trader Joe's
According to my nutritionist, these are the health-conscious type of food I should eat on a daily basis.
Health-Conscious Meal # 2
For lunch, I had Junior Maoz Falafel Sandwich (vegetarian) and Small Fresh Squeezed Carrot Juice
So what does the sandwich consist of? A Falafel is made of chick pea (garbanzos), parsley, cilantro, and some spices. It is an Israeli Dish. Since I ordered a junior size, it has 3 pieces of falafels. For my toppings I have a sliced Romaine, Black Olives (2 pcs.), Green Olives (2 pcs.), Brocolli, Sweet Pickles, chopped onion, tomatoes, cucumber, and coleslaw. For the sauce I have salsa and cilantro. A whole wheat 1/2 Pita is used for the sandwich.
Daily Practice #2
Minutes: 30
Songs worked on: Daily Vocalizations by Kurt Robinson & Kelly King, Alto part of "Because" from Across The Universe and "Don't Cry For Me Argentina from Evita.
I booked the studio from 4:30-5pm. I started with vocalizations then I have to study the alto part of "Because". Then for the remaining 7 minutes, I practiced "Don't Cry..." applying the principles of Kurt's daily vocalizations. I was surprised to find out it was not really difficult to sing it as long as I apply the Full-Voice technique Kurt has taught me during the vocal technique class. I also noticed that I can sing it smoothly without having any problem transferring from my low, middle, and high register. The less I put effort when I sing, the better it sounded.
Fitness #2
Type of Class: Basic Tap
Instructor: Germaine Salsberg with Assistant Jill Kenney.
Jill taught the class as Germaine was not around. We started with our routine warm up doing the paddle and roll, shuffle and shuffle-ball change, flap, and stomp, etc. On these photos Jill have us cross doing a number of combination with what we've learned to practice on the floor. Our step of the week is The "Military Step".
Fitness #3
Type of Class: Advance Beginner Musical Theater
Instructor: Jim Cooney
Our music for today's class is Transylvania Mania from Young Frankenstein. It is nice to see my flaws here so I know what to work on next time. Jim's class is tough but I always enjoy and love it. The most packed class in BDC and plenty of very good dancers who are in the PRO SEM and ISVP program are regular attendees. The video you will see is just half of the class. This is group 2 in which I am part of. Jim usually divides the class into 2-3 groups in order for us to see each other perform when we finish the combinations and choreography.
It has been a very tiring day today but worth the effort that I put through for today's challenge.
Looking good, Vi! I'm sure you'll do well, and remember: practice makes perfect!
