Day 16 - May 16th Challenge

I took class with Jim Cooney  today and practiced at Ripley. I would like to special mention and say thank you to J. Quinn Henderson, my fellow challenger. Quinn, you're a blessing!!! Muchas Gracias :)

My inner force is telling me to challenge myself with a difficult piece which displays all the elements of what I've been learning to have a full-voice transitioning from chest to head tone and vice versa. In my opinion, this can be a perfect piece in finding my chest tone and transitioning smoothly. So I went to Colony to buy the Singer's Musical Theater Anthology with tracks before going to the studio. Guess what, I studied "Meadowlark" from The Baker's Wife. This is one of my favorite songs and I would like to learn it. It's a tough choice but will see if I can give justice to this piece.

This week, I am arranging schedule for community services. I will start doing my first this coming Friday and second one on Saturday. Will do the rest on Memorial weekend holiday.
