Day 15 - May 15th

Hello everyone! I could not believe it's the end of the second week for the challenge and I can truly feel it's building up for me in terms of joggling all the things that I do. It's good adrenaline though and a mixture of everything, lol!

I will consider today as the most challenging for me even though I only did my daily vocalization and practiced the song I will sing and perform for next week's event. I worked the whole day and the demands of my job truly puts me to the test. The only thing I kept on saying to myself was this: "Don't Stress, Love More" to keep my positive aura and be grounded at all times. It is tough when you are put in a situation where you can only offer and give your two hands and feet and yet others will demand for more than you can give. This circumstance always reminds me of the Prayer of St. Francis and 1st Corinthian 13. It makes me feel better reciting those verses to myself and reminds me of the goodness in my surroundings and what makes life more meaningful. I went to the 72nd St. location of Ripley-Grier to save time as I will be heading towards MMAC afterwards.

The highlight of my day was going to MMAC to watch the Professional Semester Students perform. I feel blessed seeing these people perform live. Added with an amazing Director of the program who was also the host of the show. It is only the second time I saw Miss Bonnie Erickson hosted a program but you can truly see and feel in her the love and passion for what she does. I like her sense of humor when she's hosting. I am grateful that my day ended well despite the challenge I have experienced earlier today :)

Daily Practice #15
Minutes: 30
Songs worked on: Daily Vocalization and practiced "Isang Lahi" (One Race) by Regine Velasquez.
